There is much to enjoy on Keswick - watch the awesome whales frolick and play in the warm tropical waters around the island. Their annual visit to give birth to their young is a spectacular sight. Be amazed at the thousands of Tiger Blue butterflies as you enjoy the easy bushwalking tracks and the breathtaking blue water views over the Coral Sea and neighbouring islands.

Swim, ski, snorkel and explore the magic coral gardens surrounding the island. Divers can enjoy the reef and visit three wreck sites closeby. Just across the passage is St Bees Island, home of the unique Koala population.

No more than 117 hectares of the island is to be developed and the natural splendour of the island will be preserved as National Park.

Get to the island by air - Keswick has its own air-strip, or by boat with mooring services available.

A ferry service will soon be available, and once there a golf buggy is your means of transport around the island as no cars are allowed.
